Growth Habits: Solitary, or slowly offsetting, up to 30 inches tall (75 cm); woolly axils; bluish green triangular tubercles, 4 to 5 inches long (10-15 cm); the areoles is at the tip of the tubercle; 1-2 central spines, up to 4 inches long (10 cm); 8 to 14 radials, up to 2 inches long (5 cm); during very dry seasons, the older tubercles fall.
Watering Needs: Water carefully, lack of water will make the tip of the tubercles yellow. Too much water will make it rot.
