Propagation: Tip cuttings, self sows and can be weedy. The seedlings are variable, but generally quite different from their mother.

Although it is a commonly planted hybrid cultivar, it does produce a lot of seeds since it is a female cultivar. The similar 'Starn' cultivar is a male and is a more desirable choice.
