Cultural Practices:
Tolerates poor soil and drought, but requires excellent drainage.
Blooming Habits:
Blooms only generally when the plant is 10 years old or more. The flower stalk is large (15 to 20 feet, 4.5 to 6 m), starting like an asparagus, but its flowers are inconspicuous. The plant then dies leaving suckers that grow into replacement plants.
